Jason Freeman

Jason and Todd Freeman started like many do early in their lives loving to watch movies. Their father, Dale Freeman, showed them 16MM prints of the classics from every genre you can  imagine. Before the days of audio-commentary, Dale would stand up in front of the portable screen and relay the tale of how the majestic filmmakers overcame adversity and triumphed with the celluloid that would soon unfurl in front of their eyes. Since then, they’ve strived to be

worthy of such a tale themselves. Both Jason and Todd went to Columbia College in Hollywood and studied under working industry professionals. From there, the brothers each made their first feature length films. In the 15 years since, they have Written, Directed, Shot, Produced, and Edited over 15 feature length films.  One of their most recent films, Cell Count, has played in film festivals all over the world and won awards including Best Director and Best Actor at the

2012 Montevideo Fantastico Film Festival in Uruguay.  It can currently be seen on all VOD services online including iTunes, VUDU, XBOX, PS3, and Amazon Instant.  The short film "M is for Marriage" will be a part of the ABC's of Death 2.5 Anthology released by Drafthouse films later this year.  Their two new films In Development were selected for the 2014 and 2015 editions of the Frontières International Co-Production Market in Montreal and are going into production in 2016.
