Everybody knows that to be a professional actor you have to have the best possible agent on your team. Listen to two of Portland's top agents talk about how to win a spot on their roster, and the best ways to keep that relationship running smoothly once you're there.

About the Instructors

Dennis Troutman has been in the industry for over thirty years and 2016 will mark his sixth year as head of the On-Camera Division at Option Model & Media. Among clients, Casting Directors, Producers and local talent, Mr. Troutman is esteemed as a leader in the NW market. As a member of a booking team that believes in managerial-style representation, his approach to the entertainment industry is personalized, honest, and aggressive. Regarded as one of the most selective On-Camera Agents in Portland, Dennis represents a roster of hand-selected male, female and young adult actors, booking work from Seattle to Portland, and everywhere in-between.

Cholee Thompson, the owner & President of Ryan Artists and has been in & around the fashion, modeling, and talent industry since she was a young girl. She stepped out from in front of the camera in 2009 when she took over Ryan Artists Inc.

This year marks Ryan Artists 34th year as a full service modeling, acting, styling and voice over agency in the Pacific Northwest. Both SAG and AFTRA franchised, They proudly represent the best union and non-union talent ranging all ages and ethnicities.

Ryan Artists strives to give their clients all that they need from one agency, a "one stop shop", enabling them to create the most professional product while saving time, money and energy.

Justin Habel is the owner and co-founder of Q6 Model & Artist Mgmt. in Portland, Oregon (www.q6talent.com). For 27 years, Justin has represented actors in Portland, from young independent film actors to theatre luminaries on Portland’s major theatre stages. He has seen the rise of Portland in the film and television world from its humble beginnings as a great location in the late 80’s and early 90’s, to its current incarnation as an indie film hotbed and the home of four television series on broadcast or cable television networks. Above all, Justin loves actors, and the chance to stretch their talents to fit the numerous roles being cast in Portland for film, television and commercial projects.
