President / CEO
David Poulshock

David's passion for storytelling – which for him is all about the question, “Then what happens!?” – most probably began at birth. After a ten-year stint as keyboardist for the semi-legendary cult band Upepo (inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame), David followed his love of music and storytelling to the world of film and video.

Among his creative achievements: the best-selling Wee Sing children's videos (for Universal Home Video), experimental short films, screenplays, commercials and corporate films, the feature doc "Raw Materials" and a public television series on higher mathematics (he was, in fact, briefly comfortable with Chaos Theory).

David's original screenplays (which range from magical reality dramas to political satires and suspense thrillers) have won accolades from Sundance, Chesterfield, Austin Heart of the Screenplay, Writer’s Network, Independent Film Project, Nicholl Fellowships, and beyond. His script THE FIX recently scored in the top 5% on The Black List.

David has served on the adjunct faculty of the Art Institute of Portland, as Chairman of the 2005 Willamette Writers Conference and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Northwest Academy (an arts-infused independent school, grades 6-12). He lives in the Northwest with his partner, Gini Chin, and their boxer Boulou.
